History of Taylon Maignart
Born: 1258 in Angers, Normandy in the Duchy of Anjou Father: Charles Mother: Maria Siblings: 11(4 surviving) Artus 30, Taylon 29, Rachel 22, Fulk 22, Barbe 19
The Maignart family had long been known for two things, as rabble rousers, and as trusted loyal servants to the Duke of Anjou. Taylon's grandfather Simon, had initiated and carried out a conspiracty to murder the hated Tax collector Jerome. Simon was quickly captured and prepared for execution. But nearly the entire city of Angers and half the Duchy of Anjou seemingly turned out in the streets the day of the execution. The rebellious outcry by common folk and guildsman alike was so great that Duke John of Anjou pardoned Simon.
Of late Taylon's father Charles is the Seneschaucy of Anjou, in short he is in charge of inspecting the fields and pastures to make sure the crops and livestock are being managed well. But he also is privately caring for the funds and fund raising of The Company of Blessed Sisters. An organization of Nuns that Barbe belongs to.
Artus is a Squire for Sir Bernard Auvury, who is currently on campaign with Prince Armand of Normandy. Rachel is completed her education at the University of Orleans and is being courted by a minor noble and a Journeyman in the Woolmongers Guild. Fulk is currently a member of the Free Companies.
Taylon left home in 1264 to be educated at the Abbey of Cluny. He was under the tuteledge of Abbot Yor de Poyson.
more to come................

Excellent History
Does St. Cuthbert in RH use the Ruby-Studded Starburst as his symbol?
What is the name & symbol of order for the Church Inquisitors?
And are the Church Inquisitors under St. Cuthbert? Would make sense.
Possible suggestions: "The Hands of God" A Hand with an Eye in the Center "Word of the Cudgel" A Large Mace across the field of the Cross "Eyes of God" A Eye in the center of the Cross (modification of std symbol) or a Patch of an Eye on the Breast
I figure that symbolism must be somewhat different to give strength and meaning(not counting fear into the populace or unfaithful)so that the agents(Church Inquisitors) of the church are set apart from the conventional cloistered clerics and such.

Yes, they use the same symbol as in the PHB.
Taylon belongs to the old order of Inquisitors, they weren't even called inquisitors, but did the same function. The old order is called The Judicators. St Cuthbert is the patron Saint of Law. But in recent years the Holy See in Avignon has developed an official order of Inquisitors that go forth from the Holy See. Being a Judicator is still valid, though not considered fully credible by the Holy See.
The symbol of the Order of Judicators is a set of stylized scales. At the center point of the scales where the fulcrum would be is the cross of ST Cutbert. Two arms radiate out from the center. Hanging from the arms are a mace on each side.
As of yet the Judicators don't have a motto, but I like Word of the Cudgel.

Quotes:
We walk in the grace of the Saints, we shall fear no evil, we shall bear great burdens, we shall strive for redemption and justice till the end of days, amen.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. By the light and fire of the Lord, his will shall be done.
